This is the privacy statement of Cinéart Interacts. In it we explain, among other things, why we collect and use personal data, which data that is and what rights you have if we process your personal data.

Who are we?

Cinéart Interacts is a platform where you can invite your contacts (students, customers, colleagues) to watch a film (or fragment) together and use all the interactive components that Cinéart Interacts has to offer.

Who is responsible for the processing of personal data?

Cinéart Interacts is the controller insofar as personal data are processed by Cinéart Interacts, unless otherwise indicated below. Your privacy is of great importance to us. We therefore comply with the relevant laws and regulations on privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

What does this Privacy Statement apply to?

This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data in our services, including the use of the Service, which also includes the use of our (mobile) apps and the use of our website https://interacts.cineart.nl/ and any services offered on it.

Cookies

If you visit our website, we process your personal data with cookies. We use technical cookies to make the website function. We also use a program for website statistics, but in doing so we anonymize your data as much as possible. More information can be found in our Cookie Policy.

What personal data do we process?

When using our services, data is processed that we have obtained because you have used our services and / or because you have provided them yourself. In some cases, this data may also be personal data. This concerns personal data such as your first name, last name, job description and e-mail address. We also automatically collect certain information when you use the Service or visit our website. Consider, for example, your IP address, the date and time you use our services, and information about the hardware and software of your computer or mobile device. We base these processing operations on the notion that the processing of personal data is necessary for the execution of an agreement and the consent of the data subjects.

How do we protect personal data?

Cinéart Interacts takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via interacts@cineart.nl If we detect a data breach, we will report this to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. In addition, if necessary, we will contact those involved within the legally determined terms.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which we process your data.

What are your rights?

You have a number of privacy rights. For example, you can ask us which of your personal data we process. And if these data is not correct, we have it corrected. In some cases, you can also ask us to delete, transfer or restrict the processing of your data. Do we share your data with third parties?

In order to be able to perform our legal tasks, it may be necessary to share data with other parties (third parties). This can be both within the Netherlands and the European Union (EU). Sometimes outside of mentioned territories. If we share your data outside the EU, we will inform you about this separately.
